Residential Training is about more than repeatedly drilling exercises. The longer programmes give Flurina time to really get to know your dog, build a relationship with them and, most importantly, establish new habits.
Training is tailored around your dog: what motivates them, what they enjoy and what is driving the behaviour you are struggling with. Play, particularly games involving toys or food, is used alongside structured training, walks and carefully chosen outings, depending on what your dog needs.
For some dogs, simply being in a different environment can help interrupt established patterns and create the space to build new ones. Where appropriate, trusted people may be involved in parts of the training too.
